Well Integrity: from cradle to grave approach
Well integrity Management is in essence about ensuring (good) quality of well barriers, to reduce the risk of uncontrolled release of formation fluids and well fluids throughout the life cycle of a well. It starts from the understanding and identification of downhole conditions, defining the barrier need, designing the fit for purpose well completion, all the way through correct implementation, so that we have a healthy and productive well through its life time, to the end of safe and clean abandonment, with sufficient protection of the environment and people.
